Our Foundation and Vision

Evangelical
The Team is fully committed to a conservative evangelical basis of faith. (See Basis of Faith below). RSTI is a member of the Interdenominational Foreign Missions Association (IFMA).

International
To achieve its aim of winning others for Christ, the Team is ready to draw its resources of intercession, stewardship, administration and personnel* from any and all nations.

Interdenominational
Believing that the entire Church of Jesus Christ in its many branches has a responsibility to take the gospel into the world, the Team comprises members from various church backgrounds, and all suitable candidates are welcomed.
In the Team we openly and frankly seek to share all that we have learned from the Lord and His Word, making our aim to edify one another rather than convert one another to our own persuasions

Vision
We have the promise of God that one day people “from every tribe” will stand before His throne and worship Him as his saved people. (Revelation 7:9).

The majority of target peoples of RSTIl originate within what has become known as the 10/40 window, that is the area between the 10th and 40th parallel of Northern latitude. Within this region live most of the people who have not yet been reached with the Gospel. However, less than ten percent of missionary effort is focused on them.

Our vision is to evangelise and plant churches amongst such people groups. These people are on the heart of God and on our heart too.
