Short Term Opportunities (East Africa)
TEFL
teachers are needed for the school year
which runs from October until the end of May. It is preferred that teachers
will start by completing an orientation course in the UK, in August. They
will then proceed to the Red Sea Area in September, in time to adjust
and prepare for the new school year. Applicants will need to be between
18 and 65 years old, and be native English speakers. A minimum TEFL/TESL
qualification is required.
Bookshop Assistants
are needed to help readers with their English Language queries in a Bookshop
/ Reading Room in the Red Sea Area. No formal qualifications are required,
but a good grasp of the English language is essential. Some French would
be an advantage. The minimum period of service is 2 months.
Doctors, Midwives and Nurses are needed to work terms in clinics
and hospitals in the Red Sea Area. They would need to speak French and
be willing to work within national government medical systems.
A mechanic is needed for two months each year to do maintenance on Team vehicles. Some knowledge of French is an advantage.
